About Comboni Ministries
Learn about our vision, leadership, and our unwavering commitment to South Sudan.
Guided by Vision & Prophecy
Comboni Ministries, Inc. was launched by pilgrims—Deng Anei, Madut Ring, Nyang Akier, and myself, Paul D. Muong—on October 7, 2005, in Kansas, USA.
Displaced by a civil war in our homeland, we unexpectedly found ourselves living out ancient biblical prophecies. While I was a refugee student in Ethiopia, I boldly prayed to the Lord for a better school. In a night vision, He promised that groups of people would come to Africa to take me and some of my friends for higher studies overseas.
Three years later, a Christian organization named World Relief brought us to the United States to graze on His Pastureland Mountain for a season, with the divine command to return and serve the people left behind in Africa.
